TRIO TOUR: CELEBRATING MARTHA ARGERICH
One of the oldest cities in China, and the oldest of the Four Great Ancient Capitals, Xi'an is the starting point of the Silk Road and is home to the famous Terracotta Army of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. As part of the economic revival of inland China, Xi'an has recently re-emerged as an important cultural, industrial, and educational center, with a concert hall designed to offer symphony orchestras a state-of-the-art performance venue, as well as creating a world-class intimate listening experience for a public of 1,250 guests.
Interclassique is proud to be producing the 2024 Season Festival of the Xi'an Concert Hall in collaboration with the Xi'an Symphony orchestra, conducted by its Principal Conductor, Dane Lam. The programme will feature five evenings of chamber music and concertos, presenting renowned soloists Renaud Capuçon and Mischa Maisky, headed by the legendary Martha Argerich.
