Palermo has been granted the coveted role of “Italian Capital of Culture” for 2018.  Announced by Italian Minister of Cultural Heritage, Dario Franceschini, Palermo’s role of cultural capital is supported by the leading institutional partners of the City of Palermo and the Region of Sicily.   A historic year for Sicily, 2018 will also see Palermo host MANIFESTA, the European pan-regional contemporary cultural biennial.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, Interclassique is organising a series of concerts with some of the leading musicians from the world stage, to take place  the Fall of 2018.
